New this fall - classes will begin on a Thursday rather on a Monday.
Thursday, August 20 will be the first day of class. On the first day of class we will follow a Monday class schedule. On the second day of class, Friday, August 21, we will follow a Friday class schedule. Thus in the Bowen Law world, Thursday is Monday this year.
The first full week of class, August 24-28, we will follow a normal class schedule.
Why would we do this? It is a long story but the bottom line is that it will allow us to have three days without classes Thanksgiving week. Although the school will be open on Wednesday, November 25, there will be NO CLASSES scheduled that day.
Don't try to figure it out. Just remember that Thursday is Monday this year!
